Last Chance For Animals (LCA) was incorporated in 1985 as a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating the exploitation and suffering of animals.  Founded by activist Chris DeRose, LCA has risen to become one of the nationally known animal organizations with an uncompromising attitude towards justice.

LCA focuses on non-violent techniques to accomplish its mission of creating a more compassionate world.  This includes coordinating broad public awareness programs, mounting intense investigations and subsequent prosecution of individuals for crimes against animals and people alike, and maintaining close relationships with the media to report animal cruelty cases to the public.
